I’ve always loved Christmas, and enjoy making my decorations. Hence that’s why I have decided to show you, how to Create a Christmas Centre Piece. These flowers vases are so easy, to create. That you can display in your home all year. Or you may wish, to give away as a Christmas Gift.
These Flower Vases only cost £13.00 to make. (yes £13.00, I hear you say).
Things You Need To Get
A Vase. £5.00 B&M Stores
Christmas Decor £1.00 – £1.49 B&M Stores
6 Bunches Of Flowers £1.00 The Poundland
Wallpaper (get any free sample of wallpaper from B&Q)
String £1.00 The Poundland
The only, reason why? I created the flower vase in the first place. I’m having a 40th Birthday Party, this coming November. I wanted to make my own, centre piece’s for the tables to keep the costs down.
It’s amazing, what you can do! If you put your mind to it! The Flower Vase will only take you 10 minutes, to make and there is no need to use glue. This way you can always change your look.
Get your chosen vase, make sure its clean. Now placing the wallpaper by standing it up to the Vase . Bending the wallpaper over the edge of the vase
There will be a clear bend in the wallpaper. Follow the bend, by pressing down with your fingers creating a perfect line. Use a knife and slice the wallpaper at the bend, this will create a straight line. Place the unwanted wallpaper to one side. Now start to roll the wallpaper, making sure your pattern is on the outside.
After rolling the wallpaper, please tape at both ends. Then place the wallpaper into the vase, the wallpaper should stand up straight.
You will need 6 bunches of flowers (Poundland). Brunch them all together, and start to tie the string around the steams. Make sure you tie them tightly into a bow.
After you have tied the flowers together place them into the wallpaper in the vase. This will hold the flowers in place. Start spreading the flowers out. When you are happy with how the flowers look. Start to add your Christmas decor.
You have now Created a Christmas Centre Piece, you can place anywhere in your home.
For an extra £4.00, I used Christmas Balls. Placing them into the bottom, of the vase around the wallpaper. Then I got 2 Tinsel Wraths. Placing one at the bottom of the vase and the other at the top. All These decorations are from Poundland.
