Corinthia Hotel London Afternoon tea Prices – Stepping into the Crystal Moon Lounge, Greeted by a very polite and happy maitre d’. Stepping into one of the most beautiful rooms. That I have ever, had the pleasure of seeing. Whisked into a timeless world, of charm and glamour. I stood for a minute to appreciate the Crystal Moon Lounge. Illuminated by the spectacular Baccarat Chandelier. If you look up you will notice a red piece in this wonderful Chandelier. This represents the heart of the hotel.
The two-ton chandelier is made up of 1,001, individually Lit Baccarat crystals. A single red bulb represents the heart and soul of the hotel.
Spacious seating around the room. Along with fresh beautiful flowers, around the room. Looking through to the adjacent Garden Lounge. The effortless style of The Crystal Moon Lounge is the perfect venue for Afternoon Tea. A live pianist Kevin Lee plays throughout the afternoon. A small shoutout to Kevin Lee. He was amazing, as he went around the, speaking to the guests. Finding out if there were any celebrations, and what they would like him to play on the piano.

Our Afternoon tea Experience.
Starting off our afternoon tea with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne. That was presented to us in stunning Baccarat Crystal. While our chosen teas were being brewed, by their in-house Tea Sommelier. The Champagne was a welcomed treat.
Everything is served on beautiful crockery, made by Richard Brendon. I know that most people love the cakes at an afternoon experience. For me, its all about the savoury items. As this is where I go wrong, ever time at an afternoon tea. For instance, our servers came round twice with fresh sandwiches – My eyes are bigger than my belly!

The Sandwiches
Cucumber, Radish Cream Cheese On White Bread.
Smoked Salmon with Marmalade Curd On Brown Bread.
Salt Beef, Horseradish Cream, Watercress on Meddtrain Bread.
Tandoori Chicken, Green Apple & Raisin on White Bread.
Truffle Egg Mayonnaise On Malted Bread.
My personal favourite was the Smoked Salmon and the Salt Beef.
After you have finished with the sandwiches. You are given a white box that has plain and raisin scones. Which were delightful, being light and delicious. They were served with clotted cream, strawberry jam and rhubarb and tonka bean jam.
A floor standing three-tiered silver trolley. That was pushed over then placed it next to our table. Our server stood to the side of the trolley and with great detail described the dessert to us. You’re then given a choice to pick your favourite patisserie’s
DESSERTS
Exotic Fruit Coconut Choux.
Alpaco 66% Chocolate Brownie & Chocolate Cremeux.
Coffee & Hazelnut Mousse & Golden Raisin Sponge.
Apple Tatin Verrine & Calvados Chantilly.
Lemon Drizzle Cake.Canele.
Marshmallows – Red Apple, Tonka Bean & Orange Blossom.
My favourite was the Lemon Drizzle, the Red Apple and Tonka Bean Marshmallows.
We all had another round our chosen teas. However, to my surprise, I noticed our server had a plate with a delightful macaroon and a candle. After that, everyone sang happy birthday to me – which was so nice.
A huge thank you! To my wonderful friends Lisa, Karen, Juilet, Trisha and Dawn. Plus The Corinthia Hotel London. For a truly amazing day, that I will never forget. The whole experience was one of the best. From the service, decor, food the list go on and on.

This place looks amazing, it looks like you had a lovely time! The food looks so good, I’m such a big fan of afternoon tea, I always love the sandwiches too, I love that they came round with a little trolly that you could then choose what desserts you wanted! Fab review.
