Dinner at The Roslin Hotel Review
A truly beautiful hotel tucked neatly between unique properties graciously overlooking the sea, this is a listed building, That hosts luxurious bedrooms bar and successful restaurant.
All the dedicated staff are incredibly motivated and are typically trying to create the same relaxed special atmosphere that we correctly are all custom too.
Dinner at The Roslin Hotel Review – Having our wedding anniversary and as we have been stuck in our house for four active months due to lockdown. I’ve been the Roslin many times and repeatedly had a fabulous meal and outstanding service. But what would it be like with the new restrictions?
Traditionally reserving our table via their official website, we arrived promptly on time as we did not think we could have a drink in their bar. We entered the hotel from the roadside and were guided to their front reception area. This is where my husband and I were kinkily greeted. Then we both of us having our temperature check. Willingly giving over our names and addresses then we used there hand sanitizer.
Their experienced manager came over and said “happy anniversary” then guided us to our waiting table. As you can typically see in the photo the cleared tables were well spaced apart, with no cutlery or table decor. Where we were placed was in the main room. This is where you can hire for your wedding reception. It’s a gorgeous brilliant room with flowers everywhere including the ceiling along with a floor to ceiling windows overlooking changing views of the sea.

Dinner at The Roslin Hotel Review – MENU
Their delicious menu we were given was ample with a fabulous choice of starters, mains and delicious desserts. Along with classic cocktails. We typically have a bottle of wine with our meal. However, this was my only criticism that the wine list was not great. Therefore I wisely decided to give their classic cocktails ago, and if you know me? (I’m a greet cow and enjoyed three unique cocktails throughout the meal – LOL.)
Gin Cocktail
STARTERS.

BROWN CRAB CRUMPET WITH ESPELETTE PEPPER, PICKED MOULI, DILL
A scrumptious brown crab crumpet was a mouthwatering sensational starter. My taste buds were exploding in my mouth. I have never experienced anything quite like this. You typically have a graceful taste of crab with the sharpest of a pickle. – It works well!
Porn Star Martini
MAIN.

GRASS-FED BEEF FILLET – 8 0Z
Truly a classic this grass-fed fillet served with triple cooked chips and a confit plum tomato. I strongly recommend their chimichurri sauce. This sauce is from Argentina and Uruguay and made from finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine.
DESSERT AT THE ROSLIN
Truly an amazing light dessert Mango Cheesecake, passionfruit jelly and sorbet, lime coconut and black sesame tuille. Everything about this dessert is just right and well balanced. It’s like a party in my mouth. To top it off they even personalised the plate for our anniversary
